The PUG Welcome Message

PUG Welcome to Power-Up Gamers or PUG for short. We're a small, but dedicated community talking primarily about video games, but branching out to other interests as well, but with one thing that should be commonplace no matter where you are on the board: Respect and Common Courtesy- you treat your fellow member with politeness and respect, and not just in back-and-forth reaction, but also when posting a subject for the first time. We're looking for thoughtful members who can express themselves like adults and not 14-year olds- all are welcome though, regardless of age, but contributions can determine if whether you stay or not- just stick to the basic rule, and you'll never find yourself in the doghouse...

If you're inclined to join us, please take a moment to read through The Rules of The Game, the terms and conditions for membership to Power-Up Gamers

Thanks for checking us out, we hope you enjoy your stay...

NHL 10 is EA's latest entry in this venerable franchise and as always promises great gameplay and some new features. See what chilly_canadian has to say about it right here.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is now out...

MultiPlatform

... and obviously is doing quite well. Batman: Arkham Asylum is the long awaited game that brings us a proper Dark Knight to this generation of video game consoles (sorry, Lego Batman, though a lot of fun is a different thing altogether) and from all accounts, looks like one fantastic game. Our members certainly think so, and they've been sharing their thoughts along the way.

Read what they have to say right here... I know they make me want to get it sooner than later...

The Summer Gaming Season Starts...

MultiPlatform ... and here's the impressions for three fun games out there...

Prototype is a big open world action game with a deep science fiction story and a uniquely super-powered character and it looks fantastic and so far, it really sounds great too. Check the impressions thread started by CloakedPuppet right here.

Fuel is probably the biggest open world racing game ever made, and features a ton of races and challenges set against a highly explorable post-apocalyptic type of world. DGoodhart has opening thoughts about the game and he's pretty pleased with what he has. Check it out right here.

Red Faction Guerilla is the third in the series from Saints Row developer Volition, and is a third person shooter that promises to redefine destruction-based gameplay in a huge open world. More impressions from CloakedPuppet start right here, so check it out.

All three games are being talked about for the Xbox 360, but all are available across multiple platforms.

Bionic Commando is available on multiple platforms, but the version we're talking about here is the Xbox 360 version.
